Tangdi Kababs

Tangdi Kababs



Ingredients

Chicken drumsticks 500 grams
Ginger sliced 1 inch
Garlic cloves 7-8
Green chillies 2
Fresh coriander sprigs 5-6
Salt to taste
Broken cashewnuts soaked in water 1/4 cup
Hung yogurt 2-3 tablespoons
Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
Juice of ½ lemon + for drizzling
Filtered mustard oil 1 tablespoon
Cucumber 1/2 medium
Tomato 1 medium
Lettuce leaves 2-3
Iceberg lettuce leaves 4-5

Method

Make light incisions on chicken drumsticks.
Put ginger, garlic and green chillies into a mixer jar. Add coriander sprigs, salt, broken cashewnuts and 2 tbsps water and grind to a smooth paste.
Transfer the ground paste into a bowl, add hung yogurt and mix well. Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice and mix well. Add chicken drumsticks and mix well. Add filtered mustard oil and mix well. Keep in the refrigerator to marinate for 8 hours.
Place the marinated chicken drumsticks in an air fryer basket and fry at 180ยบ C for 12-15 minutes.
Peel cucumber and slice it. Roughly chop tomato and place on a worktop.
Roughly tear  lettuce leaves and iceberg lettuce leaves and mix with the cucumber and tomato.
Make a bed of the prepared salad on a serving plate, place chicken tangdi kababs on top, drizzle lemon juice and serve immediately.
