Moogache Bhirde



 Moogache  Bhirde



Ingredients :
Sprouted moong ¼ kg, 
Onion 2, chopped
 Coconut grated  1 cup,
 Cumin seeds 1 tsp, 
Mustard seeds 1 tsp,
Ginger Garlic paste 2 tsp
 Asafoetida  ¼ tsp, 
Kashmiri red chilly powder 1 tsp, 
Turmeric powder ½ tsp, 
Coriander leaves ½ cup, 
Sugar 1 tsp, optional
 Kokum 2-3, 
5 -7 curry leaves
Salt, as per taste
Oil 3 spoons
 
Method : 
    Remove skin of sprouted moong. wash and cook in a pressure cooker.(4 whistles)
    Chop onion and coriander leaves.
    Grate coconut and  ginger garlic , cumin make fine paste in a mixture by using water.
    In a pan heat oil add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
    Then add onion and fry till golden.
    Now add asafoetida,red chilly powder,turmeric powder and salt.
    Now pour cooked moong and mix well.
    When it starts boiling add coconut paste,sugar and kokum.
    Remove from the gas after 2-3 min.
    Moogache bhirde is ready.
    Serve :With chapati, rice or bhakari.
