Homemade Basic Butter Chocolate Chips Cookies
Ingredients:
Unsalted Soft Butter - 110 grams melted / 8 tblspn
Granulated Sugar - 1/2 cup / 100 grams
Brown Sugar / Jaggery - 1/4 cup / 50 grams
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
Egg - 1
Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 1/2 cup / 180 grams
Chocolate Chips - 1 cup
(My 1 cup measures 240 ml)
Method:
Preheat oven to 180 degree C.
Take melted butter, brown sugar and normal sugar in a bowl. Add in vanilla and whisk well.
Now add in eggs and whisk well.
Add in flour, baking soda and salt and mix well. Add in chocolate chips and mix well.
Divide the dough into 12 portions and roll it out. Place it in a baking tray and flatten it lightly.
Now pop this in oven and bake for 10 to 12 mins.
Now remove it and let it cool for 10 mins.
Now remove this to a cooling rack and cool completely.
Serve with milk.
