Spicy Chicken Lollipops

Spicy Chicken Lollipops

Ingredients

Chicken lollipops 12
Sichuan sauce 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Ginger-garlic-green chilli paste 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice 2 teaspoons
Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons
Thick yogurt 3 tablespoons
Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
Oil for shallow-frying

Method

Apply a mixture of salt, ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, lemon juice, Sichuan sauce, red chilli powder, yogurt and turmeric powder on the chicken lollipops and set aside to marinate for an hour.
Heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Place the marinated lollipops and sear on high heat for four to five minutes, on each side. Cover and cook on low heat for six to eight minutes.
Serve hot.
Serve hot with mint chutney, onion rings  or  Sichuan sauce.
