Murruku - Instant Chakli
Ingredients
½ cup rice flour
1 tbsp Gram flour
1 tbsp urad daal flour
1 tbsp ghee
Asafoetida a pinch
½ tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
¼ tsp carom seeds
Oil for deep frying
METHOD
Add rice flour, gram flour, urad daal flour, ghee, asafoetida, red chilli powder, salt and carom seeds in a bowl.
Add lukewarm water spoon by spoon and knead a soft dough.
Fill the dough in a sieve press machine, using star chakli nozzle and using it take out the murruku on a white satin cloth. Fry it in hot oil.
Crispy Murruku is ready to be served.
