Ingredients
2 cup rice(ambemohor or basmati)
1 cup sode(dry prawns)
2 onions (finely chopped)
1 tomato (finely chopped)
4 clove garlic
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 coconut grated
corriander few spring
7 to 8 cloves
4 to 5 cardamom
salt as per taste
30 ml oil
Method
Wash rice and keep it aside, wash dry prawns and keep it in water heat oil in pan add crush garlic cloves add dry prawns and fry till crisp remove in plate grind together coriander and coconut(fresh) heat remaining oil in vessel add cloves and cardamomm add onions and fry for 4 minutes now add ginger garlic paste , turmeric, red chilly pdr, garam masala and saute now add tomato and grounded coconut mix well now add rice and mix well add boiling water just above 11/2 inches above the rice level add salt and bring to boil once it is boil now add fried sode(dried prawns) and mix well now put the lid and keep it on slow flame for 10 minutes serve hot with roasted papad and sol kadhi .
