Arbi Masala
Ingredients
Arbi boiled or raw (colocasia) : 250
gm
Onion : 1medium chopped
salt to taste
red Chilli : 1 tsp
corriander (dhania) powder : 1 tsp
amchoor : 1 tsp (add more if like)
green Chilli : 2 medium
ajwain : 1 tsp
Cooking oil : 2 tsp
turmeric : 1/2 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste : 1 tbsp
salt to taste
red Chilli : 1 tsp
corriander (dhania) powder : 1 tsp
amchoor : 1 tsp (add more if like)
green Chilli : 2 medium
ajwain : 1 tsp
Cooking oil : 2 tsp
turmeric : 1/2 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste : 1 tbsp
Method
Make a paste of ginger and garlic. If Arbi is not boiled, chop it thin like french fries,
else it can be used as whole piece.
Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions. Fry till it turns to light pink color.
Now add ajwain, corriander, turmeric, red Chilli and salt.
Cook it on the low flame, once this mixture starts seprating from the oil, add ginger
garlic paste along with the chopped green Chilli. Let it cook for a minute on low flame.
Now add the Arbi (boiled or chopped raw pieces) and cover it. let it cook for 15 - 20
minutes in case of raw arbi.
Once it is becomes soft, sprinkle amchoor and cover it for 2 - 3 minutes. Now the Dry
Arbi masala is ready.
Serve hot with chapati or paratha.
