Alu Parantha

Alu Parantha





Ingredients  :
2 boiled Potatoes (microwaved- boiled without water in ziplock bag )micro the potatoes for5 min.
Coriander leaves finely chopped
2-3 spoon of cornflour
4-5   Garlic (very finely  grated)
1 or 2 green Chilies (finely chopped )
Salt , Red Chili powder, Haldi powder and Garam masala,Amchoor powder - as per taste
Butter or Home made ghee/oil.

Preparation of alu paratha :
For the cover make dough out of whole-wheat flour (atta) and 1 tablespoon of cornflour..
( IF U ADD CORNFLOUR IN WHEAT FLOUR UR PARATHA WONT LEAK OR BREAK FROM SIDES )
Peel and Mash the potatoes.( careful there shud b no water content in potato mixture)
Add all the masala items to mashed potatoes and mix it properly.
Make a stuffing like puranpoli and roll it.
Now roll it slightly. Put it in a tawa .
When top side is done change the side and put ghee or oil.
Spread butter over it. Serve aloo paratha hot with yogurt (curd) or green mint- coriander chutney or any pickle.
