Coconut Laddoos

Coconut Laddoos

Ingredients

250g desiccated coconut (dry nariyal powder)
250g khoya (thickened milk)
300g powdered sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp raisin (kishmish)

Method

1. Grate or crumble the khoya.
2. Heat the milk & add the khoya, cook on slow heat for 3-4 mins.
3. Add 200g desiccated coconut & remove from fire mix well.
4. Allow to cool a little & add the sugar. Divide the mixture into 12 parts.
5. Shape each part into balls & roll in the remaining desiccated coconut.
6. Garnish with raisins (kishmish), cool it & serve.
