Chocolate Walnut Tart


Ingredients

Dark chocolate chopped 250 grams
Walnuts toasted and chopped walnuts 1 cup + for garnishing
Readymade tart shells 8-12
Butter 3 1/2 tablespoons
Maple syrup 1 1/2 tablespoons
Fresh cream 3 tablespoons
Orange zest chopped 2 teaspoons

Method

Melt chocolate and butter together on a double boiler. Remove from heat and mix well till smooth.
Add maple syrup, cream and orange zest and mix well.
Cool down to room temperature. Add walnuts and mix well.
Pour the mixture equally into the tart shell and refrigerate for two to three hours.
Garnish with chopped walnuts and serve chilled.
