Paneer Pakoras
Ingredients
Cottage cheese (Paneer) 300 gms
Besan (Gram Flour) 1 ½ cup
Green chilies 3-4
Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Chaat masala 1tsp
Red chili powder ½ tsp
Salt 1½ tsp or to taste
Oil to deep fry
To serve:
Instant meethi chutney ½
cup or tamarind chutney
Green chutney ½ cups
Method
For Pakoras
1. Remove the stem, wash and finely chop the green chilies.
2. Cut the cottage cheese (paneer) pieces into about 1 ½ inches square.
Sprinkle ½ tsp chaat masala, ¼ tsp red chili powder and little bit of salt onto the paneer pieces.
Keep aside for 15 minutes.
3. In a bowl take besan, chopped green chilies, chopped coriander leaves, salt, red chili powder and
chaat masala.
Mix well . Add very little water at a time to get the perfect batter.
